Advance Placement (AP) Classes are offered today in more than 30 disciplines. These courses meet or exceed the criteria of college level work, and culminate in the AP exam in early May. Unlike other standardized tests such as the SAT and the ACT, AP exams are only offered once a year.
AP exam scores range between 1 and 5, and success is usually measured with a score of 3 or higher. Most four-year colleges and universities grant students credit and advanced course placement based on AP exam results. This means that students can receive college course credits before they even enter college, saving time and money.

If your student is taking an AP course and would like some help during the academic year, Chyten will be offering weekly AP classes in Physics, Calculus, English and Chemistry. An expert in the field, holding either a Master’s degree of PhD in that area of study, will teach these small groups. Students will able to bring current homework assignments and projects to class, and our expert instructor will help guide them through the process. In addition, we will be following the Apex Learning Curriculum to pre-teach upcoming topics in the their classes, giving your child the confidence and background knowledge to be successful in these very difficult courses.
Classes will be offered the following days of the week, beginning November 1st. There are no minimum number of classes that your student need attend – just send us an email or message us through ParentNet if your child will be unable to attend that week’s session. The two hour classes are only $79 each week ($39.50 per hour) and you will only be charged for sessions attended.
