I actually filled out the 2010/2011 common application forms instead of the 2011/2012 common application forms for the fall admissions in 2012. I would want to know if this will affect my application and also, if there is any major difference between the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 common application and Yale supplementary forms.

    • It will affect you. They will not accept your 2010-2011 application. Moreover, if you did it online as opposed to on printed paper, your account will clear and you will have lost it all by August 1, 2011.

Sorry to give you the bad news. Also, the supplements are subject to change. If you’re looking for a quick start, maybe do your essay, but not place it in any application.

      Sorry.
