Chyten offers Duke TIP Boot Camp

Chyten’s unique summer program prepares students for the SAT given as part of the Duke Talent Identification Program. The Duke University Talent Identification Program is a global leader in identifying academically gifted students and providing them with innovative programming to support their development. Duke TIP’s 7th Grade Talent Search identifies academically talented 7th graders based on standardized test scores achieved while attending elementary or middle school. Candidates are then invited to take the ACT or the SAT as 7th-9th graders, which allows them greater insight into their academic abilities. In addition, they gain valuable benefits and resources for gifted students.

Classes meet Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM with a one hour midday break. Students will learn Chyten’s ground-breaking strategies during the week, then end with an “actual conditions” practice SAT test.
